Can Lyme Disease Be Treated Holistically?

Lyme disease is a crippling illness if left untreated. The CDC estimates that as many as 467,000 new cases occur in the US each year.

After the initial period of infection has passed, antibiotics no longer work. But there are powerful botanical protocols that are helpful.

In late stage neuroborreliosis, nerves get so affected that the body no longer responds well to herbs and supplements. It is imperative to treat the nerves, especially those of the CNS. Lyme spores can hide inside the brain and spinal cord where they interact with our thoughts and emotions.

So treating Lyme holistically means treating the whole person, not just the disease. This includes buried traumatic experiences. A positive state of mind is essential for anyone to cope with chronic illness.

Are there effective holistic treatment strategies for Lyme disease?

Limits of antibiotic protocols

If diagnosed early on, Lyme infection may be resolved with prompt use of antibiotics. First choices are usually doxycycline, amoxicillin, or cefuroxime. These antibiotics may wipe out the bacteria. However, the success of early intervention is not guaranteed for the longterm.

This is because Lyme spirochetes can, despite antibiotics, survive in a dormant state, re-emerging years later to cause sickness. Their spores are minute: mature spirochetes can morph in mere seconds into minute forms undetectable to white blood cells.

This provides Lyme with powerful advantages over both the innate immune system and adjunct antibiotic therapies.

If Lyme is diagnosed once it is too late for antibiotics to be effective, treatment becomes more complex.

Botanical anti-microbial protocols

Fortunately, there are a number of powerful combinations of herbal remedies that have proven helpful in treating chronic Lyme disease. Many of these formulas include a plant called Japanese knotweed.

Benefits of Japanese knotweed

This plant helps move the blood more efficiently through microcapillaries. Recent studies from 2021 have shown it to be effective at killing the persistent strains of the Borrellia Burgdorferi (the main spirochete that has caused Lyme disease) as well as Bartonella, a common co-infection.

Others herbs which can treat Lyme

Helpful herbs include Cat’s Claw, Andrographis, Chinese Skullcap, Dandelion root, Sweet wormwood, Dandelion, Licorice, Calendula, Rosemary, Astragalus, Chinese Smilax, Cilantro, Cistus Incanus, and Red Root.

Detox

Chronic Lyme does not just involve the Lyme spirochete. It is common for there to be co-infections with Babesia, Bartonella, Mycoplasma and other noxious micro-organisms. Patients may also be struggling with black mold, candida, or retroviruses.

There are usually issues with environmental pollutants and heavy metals putting stress on the cells, as well as increased electro-sensitivity.

Some of the most important items to assist with detox are cilantro, red root, zeolite and phosphatidylcholine.

Detox must combine with restoring the health of the microbiome. To do this, Brazilian Green Propolis, Humic and Fulvic acids, Cistus tea, and high quality probiotic formulas are recommended.

Re-booting cell signalling

All these complications mean that a very broad spectrum, holistic approach is required. Detoxing effectively includes ensuring that cells can signal to each other.

When Lyme and these other factors invade the body, they scramble the communications between cells, which are essentially electromagnetic.

By reducing their presence, and by supporting healthier cell signalling, improvements in health may be achieved. Nevertheless, it is not easy to accomplish this. Carbon 60 in sunflower oil (when acquired from a reputable source of production) and the herb Chinese Smilax can be very helpful.

Where does Lyme come from?

The Lyme spirochete first penetrated into the human body via a deer tick. However, today deer ticks are not the only insect vectors. Evidence suggests that Lyme infection can also be transferred in other ways, such as via breast milk.

It is important to understand that the bacterial spirochete (borrellia burgdorferi) originally considered to be the unitary cause of Lyme disease ~ and named after its discoverer, Willy Burgdorfer ~ did not emerge from nature. Its origins lie in murky gain-of-function research.

This helps explain its remarkable ability to cause extensive harm to the human body. Lyme belongs to the category of weaponized microbes.

Bio-energetic protocols

The value of bio-energetic protocols lies in their ability to remediate against the scrambling of cell-signalling induced by the disease. When coherent energy is introduced into the body, it assists it to grow calmer and assert better control over the nerve pathways. This can help remediate against the neuropathies and joint pain that come with advanced stage Lyme disease.

Emotions and illness

Because our nerves also carry emotional information throughout the body, inflammation results both from the presence of harmful microbes and toxins as well as from the stress the patient experiences in reaction to having the disease.

This is why it is so important to treat chronic Lyme holistically: we must address not simply the physical problems, but also the emotional responses to the condition.

In this, WiFiVibe has proven helpful as an adjunct therapy.

What can I do?

I always advise people that the key is to become as well-informed as possible. Stephen Harrod Buhner’s book, “Healing Lyme” is an invaluable resource. Kris Newby’s book “Bitten” gives crucial insights into the murky origins of Lyme in biolabs. Armed with such information, it is easier to find a path towards healing. Consulting with a team of highly knowledgeable practitioners is optimal because treating Lyme can be very complicated and challenging and no two cases are exactly alike.
